In user terms, Valet can work with email, messaging, documents, media, local files, printing, and web search.

How Valet stays safe to use

Human approval - every consequential action requires your explicit approval before it happens.
An independent guard model - a separate model inspects high-risk steps before they run.
Untrusted content - anything read from outside, such as email or web pages, is treated as data, never as instructions.
Certified plugins - third-party capabilities are only loaded if they are signed.

Compared with a constrained assistant, Valet can do more. Compared with an unsupervised agent framework, it is more disciplined, because of the approval and guard-model steps above.

A worked example

For example, you could ask Valet to find a document on your machine, summarize it, and email the summary to a colleague. Valet locates the document and drafts the summary, then shows you the outgoing email - recipient, subject, and body - before sending anything. Only after you approve does it send the message.

System requirements

Valet requires Windows and administrative rights to install. You will need to supply your own model-provider and web-search API keys on first run. Downloading requires a free account.
